The game doesn’t change
the skills needed to acquire for literacy, but a new dimension to the elements
of literacy. The gaming elements that
provide users the learning content is text, which allows users to understand
the information given to them. In “Word
Cookies”, the letters are given scrambled and you need to make the necessary
words needed of the given letters.
Visual- graphic elements, players can understand the graphics and
animation given that separates each player.
Audio elements- The sound provides the students a signal when to change
or accept more information.

The goal of the game is
to make as many words as possible with the letter given to you, and eat the
most points

This game has scenario design which
affects the student’s decision to select the game which will help promote
learning. In this game, the idea of
cookies and a chef hat when solving the puzzle, and the ability to earn points,
helps the student select this game. This
game is an embedded scenario, which many puzzles are, which affects the student’s
strategy abilities and reasoning ability
